Tarian Guard Services is hiring Security Officers for F02 Guard Shifts in the Staten Island area. As a Security Officer, you will help protect various organizations and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.

Requirements

Completed High School Diploma or GED
Valid and Current New York State Security Guard License
F02 Fire Guard (or N32 Certificate of Fitness) from FDNY
Previous security experience
Previous customer service experience
CPR Certification
Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
Must be able to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).
For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as pay stubs or W-2s).

Responsibilities

Maintaining security and safety throughout the organization and serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
Taking care of fellow officers, clients, and their property.
Adhering to all Company service and operating standards.
Immediately responding to emergencies and providing necessary assistance.
Following procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting.
Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
