Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Support adherence to site policies by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
