Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols for a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for staff, guests, and/or deliveries.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incident information, and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and client-facing expectations.
