Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across campus. Requirements

  • 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe daily activity, and assist with directions, escorts, and general support while helping to maintain an orderly environment at the location.
  • Support campus operations by communicating with staff and/or first responders when needed, following post orders, and assisting with security-related inquiries and incidents.
