About The Position

Marquette is seeking a part-time Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role offers a long-term opportunity with potential for growth within a supportive, family-like community. The position requires availability for every other weekend and five days of paid training. Available shifts include 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM), 2nd shift (3PM-11:30PM), and 3rd shift (11PM-7:30AM).

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
• One year of security experience is required
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and work well under pressure
• Employment is also contingent upon successfully completing a background screening, drug screening, TB blood test, and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Conduct scheduled indoor and outdoor security rounds
• Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls
• Monitor employee and contractor presence
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain security equipment and supplies
• Complete other duties as assigned
