Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and reporting irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or site observations, while following Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines.
