Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a medical device and healthcare technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
