About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Services in Manassas, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology location. This unarmed role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors and use computer or tablet systems to document observations and support site operations. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This is a full-time position paying $21.84 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Communicate observations and concerns to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
