Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at a government military and naval facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with established site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and public emergency services as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, access-related matters, and other assigned duties.
