As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. You will use clear communication and sound judgment while contributing to a reliable operation. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and driver access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
