As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Reception in Glenshaw, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a welcoming presence at a school district location, supporting a positive environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will manage access, greet and assist guests, observe activity, communicate concerns, and help address security-related matters. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at the front desk.
  • Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor access points, receive and direct calls and inquiries, and communicate visitor arrivals or concerns to appropriate school personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences, and report concerns to designated personnel.
