Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or maintain access logs to help support authorized access throughout the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or receiving and shipping zones, with attention to access control concerns and unusual activity.
• Communicate with site personnel, vendors, and/or transportation partners regarding entry requirements, delivery access, and other security-related procedures for the location.
