Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations involving freight and personnel. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or shipments entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
  • Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with site personnel, drivers, and visitors regarding access procedures.
