As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel while reporting observations and supporting daily operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of facility operations and posted site rules.
