As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Management in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and responders. You will support site procedures, document observations, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and logs for incidents, observations, patrols, and unusual conditions, following site-specific reporting procedures.
