As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate common areas, building exteriors, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting and reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while providing a professional presence at the location.
