About The Position

As a Security Officer Active DOD Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site policies, and document relevant observations and actions taken.
• Support access control, incident documentation, and communication with site contacts and/or emergency personnel while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
