About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will provide a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor check-in, communication, and security-related procedures. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining professional awareness to help deter incidents, and collaborating with site personnel. The position is full-time and pays $17.88 per hour. The scheduled hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Greet visitors and contractors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Monitor front-desk communications, answer and route calls, receive deliveries, and coordinate visitor notifications professionally.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Remain aware of activity at the reception area and adjacent entry points to help deter unauthorized access.
