As a Security Officer Full Time in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a regulated medical manufacturing and office environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, production areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
