About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Observation Patrol in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and delivery activity, and reporting unusual circumstances according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in required logs and reports.
