About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Two Years Experience in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, building alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
Monitor and report suspicious activity, property damage, policy violations, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel, completing clear and accurate documentation.
Assist with visitor access, contractor check-in, and delivery coordination in accordance with site requirements while maintaining a professional presence.
