Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading or shipping and receiving zones, with attention to security-related concerns and unusual activity.
• Document daily activity, visitor logs, and incident details, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and location procedures.
