As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vehicles, helping to deter unauthorized entry to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas while observing and reporting security-related concerns.
