About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Distribution Center in Boston MA. Fridays 330 AM - 730 AM (With Option For More Shifts). Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or vendors, and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Support security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with staff, and following post orders during routine and/or high-activity periods.
