As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Observation Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and patients while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and exterior perimeters, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing guests and communicating concerns to appropriate site personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
