Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, inspect credentials and shipping-related documentation as required, and direct authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
