About The Position

As a Security Officer in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
  • Control access for delivery vehicles, trailers, and drivers in accordance with site procedures, including documenting arrivals, departures, and exceptions.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
