As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Auburndale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation testing location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, roadways, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering or leaving restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
