As a Security Officer Dispatch Console Driver in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive and relay calls for service, and coordinate the dispatch of personnel to reported incidents, alarms, and/or operational needs in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity, maintaining accurate logs, status updates, and related reports for security-related and site operations personnel.
  • Support access control and visitor management processes by communicating post instructions, verifying requested information, and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, noting potential hazards, equipment issues, and/or suspicious activity and reporting findings through established procedures.
