About The Position
Join our team supporting a fast-paced industrial project in Freeport, TX. We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to help maintain safety and security at a busy site. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
Requirements
- Valid TWIC Card (required – must have in hand)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or overnight)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Reliable transportation to Freeport, TX
Nice To Haves
- Security, industrial, or access control experience preferred
- No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control site access at the project gate
- Verify credentials, badges, and TWIC cards
- Enforce safety and security protocols in a petrochemical environment
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation
- Identify and report safety risks or suspicious activity
- Communicate professionally with employees and contractors
