About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Marcus Hook, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.
  • Follow site-required personal protective equipment requirements and chemical/petrochemical facility protocols while documenting observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
