Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for communication and task management. Emails should be composed using standard email clients and should adhere to the formatting and etiquette guidelines outlined in this policy. Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with basic computer functions, including but not limited to, email composition, attachment handling, and calendar management.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should highlight any relevant customer service experience in their email communications. Emails should reflect a customer-centric approach, showcasing professionalism, empathy, and clarity. Responses to inquiries should be timely and informative, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor or contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery drivers and vendors, in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
