As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Guard card is required.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and inspection reports, communicating security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
