As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Verification Patrol in Auburn Hills, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access control needs, and support loss prevention efforts. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
