Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific policies, monitoring front desk activity, and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with access procedures at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site and Allied Universal channels.
• Verify identification, manage visitor logs, issue access credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent front desk presence and policy awareness.
• Answer phones, greet incoming guests, provide directions, and support security-related communications between building occupants, management, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and entry points from the front desk, document security-related concerns, and escalate issues according to post orders and site-specific procedures.
