About The Position

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight vehicle patrol coverage within a private gated community in Edwards, Colorado. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure residential environment through proactive patrols, observation, and timely reporting. The officer assigned to this post will spend most of the shift conducting vehicle patrols, monitoring community activity, and addressing security concerns in accordance with established procedures. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, are attentive to detail, and take pride in providing exceptional service to residents and property management teams.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean background history and ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle throughout the shift
  • Strong observation and decision-making skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Previous security, patrol, customer service, or property monitoring experience
  • Experience working in residential communities or gated properties
  • Familiarity with report writing and mobile reporting platforms
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine vehicle patrols throughout assigned residential neighborhoods and common areas
  • Monitor entrances, exits, roadways, and community amenities during overnight hours
  • Check for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, property damage, or safety concerns
  • Maintain a visible security presence to support a secure living environment
  • Investigate unusual situations and follow established response procedures
  • Report hazards, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to appropriate contacts
  • Respond to resident concerns and requests in a professional manner
  • Assist emergency personnel when required during incidents or service calls
  • Complete daily activity reports and patrol logs accurately
  • Document incidents, observations, and noteworthy events in a timely manner
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding operational concerns or significant activity
  • Utilize company reporting systems and mobile applications assigned
  • Deliver courteous and professional service during all resident interactions
  • Follow site-specific post orders and company policies
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct throughout each shift
  • Support a positive relationship between residents, management, and security personnel
