As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
