About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Stockton, California. The role focuses on access control, visitor and driver registration, monitoring entry activity, and routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. The officer provides professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a team-oriented environment and helping facility operations run smoothly.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access records.
Screen inbound and outbound traffic according to site procedures, direct delivery personnel to designated check-in areas, and report access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
