Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Working with a reliable, agile, and innovative team, you will help promote a secure environment while demonstrating integrity and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unusual conditions, damaged equipment, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
