Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a front desk within a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting and screening visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
  • Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, coordinate with site contacts, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying designated personnel and following established response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate front-desk records, including visitor activity, incident details, and shift communications, while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
