About The Position

As a Security Officer - Critical Facility Clearance Required in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and/or access control activities in a professional manner.
• Support security-related operations at an aero and defense location by observing for restricted area concerns, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders and client-specific guidelines.
