About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location in Florence, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The role also supports access control, alarm response, incident reporting, and other security-related operations.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Accurately document patrol observations, incidents, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
