About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC Verification Driver in Paulsboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving position. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing visitor badges, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
