Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a condominium community, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor access in accordance with property policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
  • Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
