As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hospitality location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout hotel and resort buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions, general information, and access-related questions.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
