As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least three years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, employee access, and the reporting of unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
