About The Position

JSW Steel is seeking to hire an experienced Security Officer to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.

Requirements

1 or more years of related work experience.
Have or be open to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED certified.
Able to work under varying conditions including weather and hours.
Capable of remaining calm during high pressure or tense situations with ability to deescalate situations.
Able to stand, sit and walk for extended durations in various terrains.
Open to work rotating shift schedule. (Days/Nights)
Must have a Level 2 Security License or higher

Responsibilities

Patrol the facility and perimeter.
Meet, assist and direct, visitors, contractors, vendors and other entities upon arriving at the facility.
Monitor and verify visitors, contractors and JSW personnel entering and leaving the facility.
Monitor surveillance cameras.
Prepare accurate and timely reports on status and activities.
Conduct various audits and inspections.
Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
Assist in expanding and driving a positive culture to Security and Safety.
