About The Position

Walden Security is hiring a rover at a large manufacturing company on 2nd shift Monday-Friday 1400-2200. The Rover will be one of 3 officers on shift and will use a company vehicle to assist drivers and visitors at the plant. The Rover's duties include checking doors, fences, and parking lots, and routinely patrolling the perimeter of the plant facility. This role requires the employee to be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee drivers license
• Acceptable driving record (no more than one occurrence in the last 5 years)
• At least 25 years old to be covered under the Walden Security Auto Insurance Policy.
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Use a company vehicle to assist drivers and visitors at the plant.
• Assist with checking doors, fences and parking lots.
• Routinely check the perimeter of the plant facility.
• Work in the elements.
