Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support closing and opening procedures as assigned, observe customer and employee activity for irregularities, and communicate with local leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
