Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive operational areas within an aerospace and defense location to help support authorized access and compliance with site policies.
  • Complete routine reports, logs, and communication with site contacts regarding patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues observed during the shift.
